Siurung is emerging new village tourism destination of Lamjung, Nepal. It has been made part of the greater Annapurna circuit. The village is situated at the altitude of 1800m from sea level which is ideal point to see Mt Manaslu view. The village is rich in Gurung culture and it is the main cultural attraction. The 50 houses of the villages are providing homestay facility to tourists. It is densely populated and uniquely constructed village. The special life event are celebrated with much cultural practices here.
The village has good home stay. It is a living cultural museum of Gurkha people. The village is in beautiful location and easily reachable from major cities of the country. It is just 6 hours drive and half hour walking distance from Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal. The volunteers can help the community run school of Siurung village where English teaching volunteers are always in demand.
